the brief

What it is

Elite Arena is the festival's esports tournament, run by Code Craft Society across October 14 and 15. It covers three titles: a BGMI squad tournament, a Free Fire squad tournament and an individual chess tournament.

BGMI and Free Fire are played in hybrid mode with Battle Royale qualifiers leading to finals. Chess is played offline at the venue: Swiss-system qualifiers followed by a knockout.

the format

How it works

  1. Free Fire · Day 1

Four Battle Royale qualifiers (Kalahari, Bermuda, Purgatory, Solara), then Clash Squad semi-finals and final.

  2. BGMI · Day 2

Battle Royale qualifiers on Erangel, Sanhok and Miramar, with the final on Vikendi. Squads of 4 only.

  3. Chess · Offline

Swiss-system qualifiers, then a knockout among the top 4. Rapid: 10 minutes per player + 5 second increment, FIDE standard rules.
