so, what is it?

Three days. The whole campus turned into one big build room.

TechUtsav 1.0 was ITM University Gwalior's technology festival, run by its student clubs. Teams raced a three-round code lock against the clock, rebuilt a broken system with no source code, caught a phishing attempt in a safe simulation, escaped a locked lab in 20 minutes, squaded up for BGMI, and opened their first real pull requests with MLH.

Questions, answered.

Can't find it here? Each event's coordinators are listed below and on its own page.

Has TechUtsav 1.0 ended?

Yes. The festival ran October 14–16, 2026 (Wednesday to Friday) at ITM University, Gwalior, and every event has concluded. Registration is closed.

Where are the winners?

Published results are on the Winners page and at the top of each event that has them: CodeLock, CyberForge, Hacktoberfest Hack Day, Build in the Box and Escape Room. Elite Arena, Re-InnovateX and Jashn-e-Andaaz will be added when their organisers send the names.

Can I still register?

No. Parakh, MLH and the Jashn-e-Andaaz form were only for sign-up before the festival. Those pages are no longer linked from this site.

When and where was it?

October 14–16, 2026 at ITM University, Gwalior. Each event page still lists the time and room it used.

Was Hacktoberfest Hack Day free?

Yes. The rulebook states the event was free to attend and conducted entirely in person. Sign-up was on MLH, not on the Parakh payment page.

Could students from other universities take part?

Hacktoberfest Hack Day was open to all university students, ITM and beyond. The Elite Arena rulebook admitted students with a valid ID card of any university, and the Re-InnovateX poster said it was open for all.

Where can I read the rules?

Every competitive event has a rulebook on the Rulebooks page. Each one can be downloaded as a PDF or printed, and the Complete Rulebook has all seven in one file. They are a record of how the events were run.
